Southern Suburbs Small Business Forum

Monday, 18 November 2024

In October, Amanda held a Southern Suburbs Small Business Forum to connect local small business owners with a range of advocacy services and government agencies.

Attendees heard from the Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman, the Southern Business Mentoring Program, the Australian Taxation Office and the Office for Small and Family Business.

Each speaker provided a passionate and informative presentation about the services they offer and how they can assist small business owners.

Amanda also spoke about the government’s priorities with the small business sector including:

  • Easing the pressure on small businesses.
  • Supporting small businesses to grow.
  • Levelling the playing field for small businesses.
  • Working across governments for small business.

Amanda believes small businesses are at the heart of the Southern Suburbs and will always be at the heart of this government’s decision making.

If you own a small business and would like to arrange a visit, or require any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Amanda’s office on ph: 8186 2588, or email: [email protected].
