Port Stanvac Beach to be opened!

Amanda has been fighting alongside the community to open up the Beach and Coastline at Port Stanvac for many years.

For too long, this stunning piece of coastline has been locked away, unreachable and unused, while locals have been vocal about their desire to see it returned for public benefit.

Alongside our community Amanda has held countless community meetings, gathered hundreds of petition signatures, and made our message clear: Port Stanvac belongs to the people.

Together, we called on the State Government to prioritise access to Port Stanvac for the public – and recently they have answered.

Amanda is pleased to share that plans have been announced to open this incredible stretch of coastline at Port Stanvac for public use. This includes access to the beach, foreshore and will connect the 70km Coastal Park Trail.

This is a massive win for our community campaign and shows the power of what we can do when we stand together. Thank you to everyone who had a say and ultimately helped make this happen.

Amanda will continue to ensure our local community has their say over the plans with public consultation expected to open soon.
