This Winter, Amanda once again collected donations from the community to deliver to local charities to help those who are disadvantaged. Amanda was overwhelmed by the generosity of our community who have made donations of warm clothes, socks, blankets and pet food as well as non-perishable food such as tinned soup, pasta, long life milk and cereal.
Amanda would like to thank all the wonderful individuals, schools, childcare centres, aged care facilities, sporting clubs and community organisations who have again generously donated to this appeal. All of these donations make such a big difference to the lives of those doing it tough.
Some of the organisations that received donations include Aberfoyle Community Centre, Christies Beach Anglicare, Arise Church in Seaford, Calvary Morphett Vale Community Pantry, Centacare Coolock House, Christie Downs Community House, Junction Australia at Hackham Community Centre, Noarlunga Uniting Church, Oasis Food Pantry, Purrfect Paws Rescue, St Vincent de Paul, and the Vines Unity Church. Each of these organisations provide vital items and services to those in the local community who need it most.
