Official Opening of Karingal Reserve in Port Noarlunga South

This community space is designed for everyone to enjoy — a place where you can play, relax, and connect with friends, family, and neighbours.

Bring your family and friends to this free event and check out the new facilities. Enjoy coffee from local coffee van, a free sausage sizzle, and face painting!

What’s new at Karingal Reserve?

The $500,000 upgrade includes:

• 🧗 New play area featuring ninja-style play equipment, a fitness station, and a flying fox
• 🛋️ Shelter area with seating and BBQs, plus a new drinking fountain
• 🌳 Improved landscaping with new garden beds, grass, and more trees

These upgrades were made possible through funding from the Albanese Labor Government Investing in Our Communities program, which was delivered in partnership with the City of Onkaparinga. We listened to local feedback to create a space that reflects our community’s needs and interests.

The Albanese Labor Government is committed to investing in our local communities by building better public spaces and making our towns and suburbs more enjoyable places to live.
