| Amanda recently hosted a School Leadership Showcase where Year 11 and year 12 school leaders were invited from all around our southern community to have their service acknowledged and develop their leadership skills. The event was an excellent opportunity for students to connect with other student leaders in the southern suburbs.
Amanda was very grateful that Christies Beach local and former Aberfoyle Park High School student, Anu Francis, who is a professional para triathlete, made the time to attend this event as guest speaker. Anu shared her knowledge about being in leadership roles and her experiences as a disability advocate. She will be making her Paralympic debut later this year in Paris. Amanda is looking forward to cheering her on! |
