I know this is not the start to 2022 many of us were looking forward to, with concern over the high rates of COVID in the community and our health system under increasing pressure.
There’s no doubt the continuing health crisis is having an impact on us all. With many South Australian’s experiencing a Christmas in isolation, long waits in testing queues and hours searching for rapid antigen tests that aren’t available.
We also know parents and children now face a disrupted start to the school year.
We have also seen the economic impact for many workers and small businesses. With workers in isolation and small businesses forced to close their doors due to staff shortages and trading restrictions.
With such an uncertain start to the year it can be hard to know where to look for information and support. I have put together some resources below to help try and address some of the questions that I keep hearing.
As always I wish to acknowledge the work of our frontline and essential workers who continue to show up for us during these difficult times.
