It was reported that the Noarlunga Aquatic Centres could potentially close if urgent repairs needed to the building, roof and filtrations system were not funded.
However, thanks to the Albanese Government’s Thriving Suburbs Program, Amanda Rishworth secured a $5.4 million investment to fund these essential repairs to the facility. The Federal Government’s funding will ensure that the Noarlunga Aquatic Centre remains a hub for families, swimmers, school education and community groups for years to come.
The Federal Government funding secures the future of the Centre – keeping it open and ready to serve generations to come. Amanda will also fight to ensure it remains affordable to visit the Centre.
