Communities Environment Program 2019

Tuesday, 20 August 2019

What could your group do with a $2,500 to $20,000 grant to help improve the environment?

Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 will be available for small, community-led environment projects that address local environmental priorities.

Projects delivering positive environmental and social outcomes can include:

  • Native and threatened species management
  • Coastal and wetland care
  • Programs to reduce litter and waste
  • Invasive species and weed management
  • Protecting and restoring environmental assets
  • Increased community connection with the local natural environment

While not a requirement, it is encouraged for the grant amount be matched in cash or in kind on at least a dollar for dollar basis.

Due to the very short timeframes given by the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, expressions of interest will close
on Friday 13 September 2019.

Please return the below Expression of Interest form to [email protected] or 232 Main South Rd Morphett Vale SA 5162.

Before applying I also strongly recommend you look through the guidelines and information at https://www.business.gov.au/assistance/communities-environment-program.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Michelle from my office on 8186 2588 or [email protected].
