Save our Submarine Jobs

Amanda has been appalled to see South Australia’s contract to manufacture submarines is again under threat.

French submarine builder Naval Group is warning it will slash the percentage of local work on the Future Submarines project, in a devastating blow to South Australian jobs.

South Australia has the highest unemployment rate in the country, we need a government fighting for every single job we can.

Frontbenchers in the Federal Liberal Government have indicated they want to see the jobs go to Western Australia, including WA-based Minister for Defence Industry, Melissa Price.

This is despite internal reviews by ASC indicating the risk of moving these jobs included loss of skill, knowledge and capability of the 700 skilled, South Australian workers.

Premier Stephen Marshall has failed to stand up for South Australia against his Federal Liberal colleagues.

Join Amanda’s fight to send a clear message to the State and Federal Liberals – our submarine workers deserve job security!
