Amanda has always fought for improved infrastructure and roads in the south, including the duplication of the Southern Expressway and the upgrade of the Candy and Lander Road Intersection.
With the planned upgrade to Glenthorne Farm, the new Soccer and BMX complex Majors Road, Amanda has been urging the State and Federal Government to upgrade and duplicate Majors Road. This stretch of road is riddled with uneven surfaces, potholes and hazards for local commuters and further development will see an increase in congestion.
The upgrading & duplication of Majors Road would allow less congestion, safer conditions and better access to the O’Halloran Hill recreation park and Glenthorne farm along with the new facilities coming soon.
