Morrison Government must match Labor commitments in Kingston

Prior to the 2019 Federal Election, Labor committed funding, if elected, towards a number of projects in Southern Adelaide.

As the local Federal Member of Parliament, Amanda lobbied for this funding after consultation with the local community.

These are important local projects that will improve services, infrastructure, and community outcomes.

Amanda is urging the Morrison Government to match the following:-

  • $4.6 million to expand and increase services available at Noarlunga Hospital.
  • $2.7 million to complete the coastal trail at Witton Bluff, between Christies Beach and Port Noarlunga.
  • $350,000 to complete the coastal trail at Hallett Cove, between Heron Way Reserve and the end of the Field River.
  • $270,000 for female change rooms at Happy Valley Football Club.
  • $50,000 for a nature play space for the Seaford Rise Disability Unit.
  • $20,000 for a Sensory Learning Area at Hackham West R-7 School.
  • $2,000 for educational equipment for the Lonsdale Heights Playgroup.

This $8 million commitment made by Labor in the electorate of Kingston compares to not a single new dollar committed by the Coalition.

It is incumbent on a Federal Government that professes to govern for all Australians to ensure our community is not left without Federal investment.
